Surrey installer takes pride in Timberlook ‘ambassador’ role
When windows and doors installer Adrian Marseilles decided to go it alone, following a split with his business partner of 22 years, he decided he would continue his loyalty to the company that had supplied his materials for all that time.
“When I came out of the partnership I was in limbo for a while, then I refocused and it gave me the opportunity to start again,” he said. And from the off, he was determined to continue his relationship with trade supplier Affordable Windows, and more recently the company’s Timberlook brand.
Adrian now owns and runs Allstyle Windows, based in Worcester Park, Surrey. He uses Timberlook for almost 75 per cent of the installations he carries out and considers himself an ‘ambassador’ for the brand’s products.
“They were pleased to have me back on board,” he said, “and it’s great to continue a relationship with a handful of people I’ve come to know well. I’ve been well looked after by them and it’s as if we’ve grown together.
Adrian has spent time travelling to Affordable Windows’ head office in Blackpool, Lancashire, meeting Timberlook employees and establishing an outstanding working relationship with the brand.
Timberlook offer a range of high-quality wood effect products to homeowners across the country. Their wood effect uPVC flush casement and flush sash windows and French doors are a perfect blend of style, performance, and innovation for the modern homeowner.
Crafted as superior timber alternatives, these wood effect uPVC windows and doors offer energy efficiency, increased security, and are low maintenance, making them a perfect choice for period or historic projects and approved for use in conservation areas.
As a long-standing customer, Adrian benefits from Timberlook’s lead generation service, in which customer enquiries are passed on to preferred installers. He is also the recipient of the brand’s promotional material, so invariably he is dressed in Timberlook T-shirts, sweatshirts and beanie hats while out at work.
“I don’t have a logo or signage on my van,” he said, “and although I’m on Checkatrade I don’t do any other advertising. That’s because the lead generation has really taken off and I don’t want to lose touch with my customer base by expanding much more. For me, the lead generation service works very well and the products Timberlook supply are terrific. In fact, I’ve worked on my own house and I’ve used Timberlook throughout.”
Adrian works on many older properties that really benefit from Timberlook’s heritage-friendly products, alongside newer homes enhanced by the brand’s sleek looks and outstanding thermal performance. At the moment, many customers are favouring Timberlook flush casement windows, with a popular finish being Agate Grey on Polar White. Premium window hardware including monkey tail and pear drop handles in black or pewter patina, with matching finishes for doors, are also a major go-to for customers.
“I’d definitely encourage installers to give Timberlook a go,” Adrian said. “It is a great product and it does everything you want it to do. The lead times are very reasonable, the suppliers are professional – you really cannot go wrong with it.”
Amelia Gaughan, Timberlook’s Sales and Marketing manager, said: “Adrian is a great ambassador for Timberlook. His loyalty to the brand has come via years of experience and knowing exactly what his customers want. We love working with installers like Adrian, providing the leads and the products that help businesses like his thrive.”
