Painswick Windows now from stock

We are significantly reducing the delivery timescales on Painswick windows with a textured white wood grain internally.

Following its launch with the flush sash window, we have seen the popularity of our heritage paint colour palette grow. With hundreds and thousands of frames built and dispatched, we have seen how tastes for various colour combinations have developed.

There are some interesting trends in the data, but one stands out more than the rest. Painswick windows have outstripped sales of Anthracite Grey windows to become the most popular colour that we do. Often referred to as Agate Grey around the web, or RAL 7038 if looking at Aluminium, it’s also our favourite! Normally, they come with smooth white ovolo decoration inside. Some customers commented that the premium wood grain white has a more ‘real feel‘ wood look. We believe that choosing the textured foil internally gives the heritage flush sash window a more authentic aesthetic.

Traditional Painswick Flush Casement Windows

What does this all mean?

Knowing that painswick windows are currently trending means our workshops can stay ahead of demand. The combination of Painswick on timber effect white foil was previously on a longer 6-week lead time. It is now available with delivery times of just 3 weeks.

Anthracite grey is still pretty popular, so we won’t be changing any other lead times just yet. It is important to see what flush sash windows in Painswick might look like, so why not get in touch for a swatch book? Better yet, we have just made a batch of colour sample off-cuts which are available for posting out. To get one for yourself, simply complete the sample request form and we will pop one in the post right away!

Please also note that the 3 week lead time is without added astragal grid bars. This would add an additional week to the delivery, where it is required.
