Sandringham Windows – Installer Profile

Deep in the heart of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, the team at Sandringham Windows Norfolk Ltd. has been working non-stop on all things Timberlook Flush Sash.

We estimate that Sandringham Windows has completed almost 60 Flush Sash installations over the past 18 months! Many of these installations started as enquiries on our website, made by lots of lovely homeowners through our contact form – available here. Upon receiving an email enquiry, we talk to our specialist trade installer partners, like Charlie at Sandringham, who then work closely with you to plan the installation of our Timberlook Flush Sash Windows.

Charlie and his team work on projects well-beyond beyond Kings Lynn, traveling well over an hour and a half to most jobs. They have worked on various property styles, from traditional chocolate-box cottages to more contemporary builds. That wealth of experience makes them well-placed to advise and assist you with any project.

Let’s take a look at some examples of the great work carried out by Sandringham Windows Norfolk Ltd:

A suite of Timberlook Heritage Windows and a matching Painswick composite door transformed this 1960s bungalow. Painswick is a popular grey-green ideal for renovating homes with multicolour brickwork – this muted colour is very versatile, pairing with virtually any style of brickwork or render! Situated in the beautiful seaside town of Heacham, this customer was thrilled with their new glazing.

The traditional design of Timberlook flush windows complements the original period features found at this attractive cottage residence in Litcham. The new windows are virtually indistinguishable from the original wooden frames, finished in a textured woodgrain Painswick Grey, with face-fixed astragal bars. Our timber-alternative PVCu window is ideal when modernising properties with age and beauty like this one.

The owners of this magnificent period property in King’s Lynn, once the village Post Office, were keen to replace their old period windows. The Heritage Flush Sash system, specified in a more minimal design, was kept free of any window lead or Georgian/astragal bar. The overall effect emphasises the appearance of those traditional, mechanical butt joints that you can see on every sash.

Lastly, we wanted to share this example of an oak effect Timberlook window, known more commonly as Irish Oak or Antique Pine. As much as we love our palette of painted wood finishes, nothing perpetuates that sense of an old timber window quite like a textured woodgrain effect foil like these. This particular King’s Lynn property was more contemporary, but a window like this would not look out of place in an older, period home refurbishment.
